A New Approach to Fraud, Waste, and Abuse

Franklin Din, CMIO of DentaLens, presented ”A New Approach to Fraud, Waste, and Abuse” to the AHIP’s (America’s Health Insurance Plans) Fraud Committee on  Wednesday, May 13, 2015.  This presentation discussed the why, how, and what that led to the development of FraudLens and how FraudLens enables the implementation of “Detect and Prevent” and creates a new process of enforcement based on behavior change.

DentaLens papers were accepted for the CSCE-HIMS17

2 DentaLens papers were accepted for the CSCE-HIMS17 (Computer Science Computer Engineering – Health Informatics and Medical Systems) conference July 18-20, 2017, Las Vegas, NV. The 2 papers are “Visualizing the Effectiveness of Behavior Change in Combatting Fraudulent Healthcare Claims” and “Visualizing Healthcare Fraud Detection – Doctor Patient Network”.

Frank Din, CMIO of FraudLens was honored to be asked to present to the population health informatics students at Sacred Heart University. The focus of the talk, “Informatics is integral to an interdisciplinary approach to pre-adjudication anti-fraud, waste, and abuse analytic solutions”. The didactic portion was supplemented with a demonstration of the how these principals are implemented in FraudLens.
